Kyokushin Karate has an expression; “Cross the street, or stay on the other side. If you go half way you will get hit.” Danny Epstein lives this philosophy in all aspects of his life, including his journey as a Martial artist.  

 

He put on a white belt in 2010 and by 2013 he was the 25th freshman heavyweight champion of Los Angeles. He has since gone on to teach other champion Kata and Fighter karateka. He has trained with Shihan Brian Bastien, Sempai Michael Jai White, Sensei Robert Christophe and many others.  He also teaches an adaptive karate program to kids with special needs.

 

He has used his martial arts skills on stage and on camera incorporating weapons as well. He continues to train with David Brimmer in stage combat and is SAFD certified in Rapier and Dagger.
